AUSTIN -- A Texas state representative arrested for DWI during South by Southwest says she's running for re-election.

Fellow lawmakers gave Democrat Naomi Gonzalez a standing ovation back when she apologized for that incident.

Austin police say Gonzalez had a blood alcohol content nearly twice the legal limit when she crashed into another car.

Gonzalez's office confirmed Friday that she does plan to seek a third term.
