More than 500 men in America are diagnosed with prostate cancer every day. September marks Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and St. David's HealthCare is hosting free screenings for men over the next two weekends.
Urologist Dr. Peter Ruff of St. David's South Austin Medical Center joined KVUE to talk about the dangers and growing risks of prostate cancer.
Free cancer screenings are taking place on Saturday, Sept. 17 and Sept. 24. Screenings will take place from 9 a.m. until noon.
