GEORGETOWN -- Another mosquito sample collected in Georgetown has tested positive for the West Nile Virus. The sample was collected Nov. 1 in the 78633 zip code, which includes Sun City.
A positive result from the 78628 zip code was reported on Nov. 8.Three mosquitoes were tested.
There have been no reports of human cases of West Nile Virus in Williamson County this year.
Freezing or near-freezing temperatures this week are expected to continue to diminish the mosquito populations.
