NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -- Police are looking for a suspect accused of robbing a smoke shop.
New Braunfels Police Department said they were dispatched just after 1 p.m. Monday to an aggravated robbery at Amsterdam Smoke House.
The suspect displayed a handgun to the clerk, left with an undetermined amount of money and also left behind a suitcase in the store instructing the clerk not to touch it. Police along with the assistance of San Antonio Bomb Squad determined that the suitcase was empty.
The suspect is described as a 30-year-old man. He is a 5'11 and around 220 pounds with black hair and facial hair resembling a goatee. The suspect was last seen wearing a black checkered shirt, blue jeans, gloves and black shoes.
He left in an older model, yellow four-door Chrysler.
