Governor Rick Perry says he is being snubbed a second time by President Obama.
The governor requested a meeting on border security with the president Tuesday, during the president's visit to Fort Bliss. That request was denied by the White House, saying Obama would not be available.
Earlier this month, Perry did not get a private meeting with the president when he visited Austin. Instead, he greeted Mr. Obama at the airport, and hand-delivered a letter to a top presidential adviser warning about the threat of drug violence along the U.S.-Mexico border.
