AUSTIN -- Police have released the name of the man killed in a rollover crash near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport which also left two people seriously injured.
The Austin Police Department says a white Toyota pickup truck went across the median and flipped about three to four times around 9:15 p.m. Thursday in the 1700 block of westbound State Highway 71.
The backseat passenger, Phillip Seth Parks, 21, was ejected and died at the scene.
The driver and another passenger, both men, were taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge with serious injuries. The driver's injuries are said to be non-life threatening.
Westbound lanes of SH 71 were shut down until 1 a.m. Friday while police investigated.
Alcohol is not suspected to be the reason for the crash.
