TULSA, Oklahoma -- Many of us are looking to beat the heat, but one group of mechanics in Oklahoma is going to the extremes.

There is no denying an Irish influence at O'Brien Automotive in Tulsa. These mechanics are taking it to heart. The men have been wearing kilts, calling them "natural air conditioning."

About four years ago David O'Brien says he ditched pants for the kilt. He admits there are plenty of giggles and strange looks, but he calls his outfit "the manliest man wear you can wear."

Of course, O'Brien has to maintain a little kilt etiquette while working on the cars. He and the other mechanics wear them from May until October.
