AUSTIN -- A man hit by a car earlier this month has died from his injuries.
Police say 45-year-old Tyrone L. Lovelace, was in a northbound lane on N. U.S. 183's service road on Oct. 5 when he was struck just before 8 p.m.
Police say Lovelace stepped into the path of a driver in a Ford F150 pickup. The driver attempted to change lanes to avoid hitting Lovelace, and Lovelace also attempted to jump out of the way, but he was then struck by a Cadillac four-door car.
Lovelace was transported to Saint David’s Round Rock Medical Center and was pronounced deceased a week later on October 12 at 2:03 a.m.
