North Austin bank robbery
AUSTIN -- A man was charged Wednesday for his involvement in a bank robbery in North Austin.
Jeremiah Gregory, 35, was charged with two counts of robbery by threat.
Police said Gregory entered the Wells Fargo National bank on 11212 N IH 35 near East Braker Lane Tuesday morning and demanded cash. He left the scene in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect was described as white male, with scratches on his face. He was wearing an orange UT hoodie. A short time later police located Gregory and he was taken into custody.
His bond was set at $20,000.
This is the second bank robbery of 2013. At this time in 2012, there were two bank robberies.
