LEANDER, Texas -- It appears a student accused of sexually assaulting a four-year-old boy will start the new school year in an alternative program not on the Leander High School campus.
Gregory Kelley, 18, is charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child.
A criminal complaint says the assault happened at a home where Kelley was staying that's also an in-home day care.
According to the district's student handbook, a student must be placed in the "Disciplinary
Alternative Education Program" for "engaging in conduct punishable as...a felony listed under Title 5 of the Texas Penal Code."
Sexual assault is a Title 5 offense.
Police arrested Kelley Friday. He is free on bond.
