Investigators looking for arson suspects in connection with Leander fire

LEANDER, Texas -- The Leander Police Department and other agencies are investigating the Mason Creek North subdivision fire for arson.

The brush fire quickly spread to homes, destroying 11 and damaging others.

Investigators say that before and during the fire witnesses saw two males and two females running from the wooded area behind the Mason Creek North subdivision. This area is where investigators believe the fire started. 

The suspects are described as Caucasian. One female is believed to be 15 or 16 years old  with dark black hair. She was seen wearing a pink shirt and blue jeans. The other female suspect is  also described as 15 to 16 years old. She was wearing a white T-shirt and jeans. Her hair is  said to be dirty blonde. 

The males are both described as 15 to 16 years old with dark, shaggy hair. Both teens were  seen wearing blue jeans. One male was wearing a red shirt; the other wore a green with black stripe shirt.
