AUSTIN -- A construction crew found a human bone in a field in Southeast Austin Tuesday.
The crew found the human remains while doing a construction survey in the 7100 block of East Riverside Drive, just west of the Ben White Boulevard intersection.
The crew called police at 2:32 p.m., and police responded to the scene.
According the Austin Police Department, the Travis County Medical Examiner's Office confirms that it was a human bone.
Police remain on the scene investigating.
