GEORGETOWN, Texas -- Police say a Georgetown man missing since Jan. 6 has been found.
Ronald Lee Stemp, 47, was last seen in the area of Northwest Boulevard and Lakeway Drive. He left his home with only his wallet and the clothes he was wearing.
On Feb. 1 he was found by an off-duty detective in Georgetown after people called police to report seeing Stemp at businesses along Williams Drive. The officer found him near Northwest Boulevard and Whisper Oaks.
Stemp was taken to a local hospital for treatment. He told police he had been in Georgetown since Jan. 6 and knew police were looking for him.
Police were worried about Stemp since he has previously expressed suicidal thoughts and wasn't taking his prescribed medications.
