AUSTIN -- Austin police tell KVUE News a member of the Bloods gang shot at two University of Texas students in downtown Austin.

It happened Saturday Oct. 20 at a Wendy's near 6th Street and I-35.

According to Austin Police Department spokesperson Anthony Hippolito, two UT students were driving in an alley when they clipped the mirror of a silver Honda. They stopped and began exchanging insurance information with the Honda's driver -- a 16-year-old suspected gang member.

Police say the gang member began attacking one of the students, so the students got in their vehicle and drove off. Video found on YouTube shows the the gang member then began shooting at the car.

There were no injuries.

Later that evening, the gang member got into a white Tahoe that APD pulled over. The gang member was questioned by APD detectives. He was arrested on Sunday and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Police would not release any other information due to the accused being a juvenile.
