TACOMA, Washington -- A second machete wielding suspect from a robbery and kidnapping in Round Rock, Texas was arrested in Tacoma, Washington Monday afternoon.
Police say Marvin Andrew Smith, 20, is a suspect in an ongoing investigation with Ismely Fondura.
Police say Fondura and Smith called the victim to Smith’s house, located in the 400 block of Cypress Lane in Round Rock.
When the victim arrived he was surrounded by Smith and Fondura who were both holding machetes, according to police, and forced into the home.
Police say the man was then robbed of his money and personal belongings. Police say Smith threatened the victim with a machete. He was allowed to leave the home shortly after.
Fondura was arrested last week by the task force hiding in a trailer parking nearby Lockhart.
Officers with the Lone Star Fugitive Taskforce investigating Smith found that he boarded a flight to Tacoma, Washington where he has family and friends.
The LSFTF transitioned the investigation over to the Tacoma based fugitive task force last week which resulted in his arrest Monday afternoon.
