AUSTIN -- A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for parts of Central Texas as the chance for showers continues throughout the week.

There is a 100 percent chance of showers for the area Monday, and some could be heavy. The high is 88 degrees and the low is 70. The Flash Flood Watch is in place until Tuesday at 7 a.m., but meteorologists say it could last longer.

Monday night there is a 40 percent chance of showers.

The rain will continue for the rest of this week, keeping temperatures low for this time of year.
