CEDAR PARK, Texas -- An overnight fire in Cedar Park has turned fatal.

The flames broke out on Indian Chief Drive around 12:30 a.m. Thursday. The Travis County Sheriff's Office says the man living in the home made it out, but died at the scene a short time later at the scene.

The man has been identified as 68-year-old James Cipolla. He was taken to the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office for an examination. The final autopsy report is not expected for several weeks. Detectives say there is no evidence that Cipolla had any injuries from the fire that would have caused his death.

The Travis County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
