AUSTIN -- Police are investigating after a man was killed while riding his motorcycle in North Austin.
Just before 7:30 a.m. Saturday, July 20, police say a white 26-year-old man was riding his grey Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle south on U.S. 183 near Lamar Boulevard when he veered to the right and struck a barrier wall and light pole.
The rider was reportedly wearing a helmet, but it flung off during the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are still investigating this deadly crash.
