Fatal auto-pedestrian accident in North Austin

AUSTIN -- Austin police are looking for the driver responsible for a fatal auto-pedestrian accident in North Austin.

Austin-Travis County EMS reports that two men in their 20s were struck by a black SUV on North Lamar Boulevard near McPhaul Street just before 10:15 p.m. Sunday.

One of the pedestrians struck was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The other was transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge with life-threatening injuries.

Police are looking for a dark-colored SUV with blade style rims.
