AUSTIN -- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is Monday, and KVUE.com has compiled a list of activities the whole family can enjoy to celebrate his life.
Free admission to LBJ Library
Entrance fees are waived on the MLK holiday. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This would be a fun outing for the whole family. For more details on events at the library click here.
MLK Community March
The MLK Community March kicks off on Monday, Jan. 20, 2014 at 9 a.m. with a short program at the MLK statue on the University of Texas campus. This is a fun way for families to celebrate cultural diversity in Austin and there is free parking. Can't beat that. For more information click here.
MLK Day of Service
This event honors Dr. King's legacy through volunteering. Service projects are available in Georgetown, Leander, Round Rock and Taylor. For more details click here.
