BASTROP COUNTY, Texas -- People left homeless by the Labor Day Bastrop wildfires have another month to stay in their federally-funded hotel or motel.
FEMA says it's Transitional Sheltering Assistance Program will end Dec. 9.
The agency is working with survivors and their families to move them into more permanent housing solutions, including apartments and manufactured homes.
Since Sept. 9th, nearly 400 wildfire survivors and their families have taken advantage of the program.
