It was organized chaos at the corner of 15th and Trinity Saturday morning.
More than 10,000 people used shuttle buses to travel to the Circuit of the Americas track.
Fans say Saturday morning was much more efficient than Friday.
The buses began loading at 6:55 and arrived at the track by 7:15, just in time for the gates to open at 7:30. Friday, organizers expected 50,000 people, but 65,000 actually came.
Saturday, a crowd of more than 80,000.
Officers are also keeping an eye on traffic. They are watching I-35, highway 73 and 183. They're also monitoring the streets of downtown through the real-time crime center setup inside APD headquarters.
Officers say no one is allowed to walk on the roads surrounding the track, and Travis County is issuing tickets to cab drivers who drop people off to walk.
