SOUTH AUSTIN -- A plane experiencing a fuel leak made an emergency landing at Austin Bergstrom International Airport Saturday morning.
Just before 10:00 a.m., the pilot of a plane carrying 65 people notified officials at ABIA that his plane was experiencing a fuel leak. With 5,000 pounds of fuel left, and 1.5 miles from the runway, an Alert 2 was issued.
The plane landed safely on the West Runway at 10:05 a.m.. There were no injuries reported in the landing.
