ELROY, Texas -- At first it seems like any other day, a local smoking a cigarette outside, taking in the scenery. But then, the scene really sets in.

There is an officer on every corner. Planes and helicopters pollute the sky and orange cones cover the road.

The small town of Elroy, is now the sight to see.

Elroy staple Wild Bubba's has been prepping for F1 for almost two years. This weekend they've got the memorabilia, the food and even an ATM they just installed on Thursday.

Eva Alvarado even relocated her food trailer, La Sobrasita, from Austin to be near the action.

"We decided last minute to take a chance. We don't see any restaurants over here or any food so we decided to take a chance,"Alavarado said.

"I heard there are 600 or more than 600 Mexican people but also hundreds of people from other countries. We just want to show them how USA is and our food," Alvarado said. "They come to the USA and they expect the best."

And that's exactly what she and her neighbors intend to show them.

"We are expecting different cultures, different people but we are open for business," the owner of 8 Segundos in Elroy said.

The owners said they are stocking up on drinks and bringing in a mechanical bull because people in Elroy said this weekend is about showing guests the Texas-style of hospitality.
