AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety is offering extended hours at all driver license mega centers in the state.
DPS says it's part of an ongoing effort to improve customer service, including the Austin-Pflugerville Mega Center.
“The increased hours of operation will be more convenient for our driver license customers and will allow greater flexibility when planning their busy schedules,” said DPS Director Steven McCraw.
The Austin-Pflugerville Driver License Mega Center is now open 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, and is located at: 216 E. Wells Branch Parkway, Pflugerville, TX 78660
Some driver license offices in the Austin area are open until 6 p.m. on Tuesdays for added convenience.
