AUSTIN -- Police have identified the bicyclist killed by a hit and run driver earlier this week.
APD says Justin Patrick Murphy, 25, was riding his bike on the U.S. Highway 183 service road just before 10:30 p.m. on Monday. A Ford F-150 pickup truck hit Murphy from behind and left the scene. Murphy was dead when police arrived.
Police are now searching for the driver of the truck. They say it should have front-end damage between the center and the right front headlight of the vehicle.
