AUSTIN -- The City of Austin spent nearly $900,000 in overtime and other costs on Formula 1 weekend, according to a report released Wednesday evening.

However, the report also says the race brought in much more than it cost. An estimated $150 million worth of what it calls "brand exposure" and nearly $400,000 in extra sales tax revenue for the area near the track.
