A dollar figure has been put on the damage caused during this year's Austin City Limits Music Fest in October.

The newly-sodded Great Lawn in Zilker Park was turned into a muddy mess.

The City of Austin released a copy of the invoice sent to the organizer of the ACL Fest -- C3 Presents.  According to the invoice, the City of Austin has billed C3 more than $25,000 to cover costs to restore the Great Lawn.

C3 had already paid the city $25,000 to rent Zilker before, during and after the festival.

The parks department plans to replace an acre of the law this spring at a cost of $15,000.   C3 will be billed for that when the work is done.
