SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- AirLife transported a child to University Hospital at around 5 p.m. Friday after an accident at an area horse farm, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office said.

A 911 dispatcher said a trainer's child was buried in the sand by his younger brother at the Wild Sunday Farm.

Sgt. Tom Dorsa with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office said the brothers were playing in some loose beach sand on the horse ranch. The five-year-old reportedly went to get help to unbury his brother, seven-year-old Wyatt McDaniel. But before help could arrive Wyatt went into cardiac arrest.

KVUE's sister station in San Antonio KENS confirmed through independent sources that Wyatt McDaniel was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The children's parents operate the ranch located at 409 Specht Road near Blanco Road, northern Bexar County.
