Cedar Park Police still investigating hit-and-run

CEDAR PARK -- Police are investigating an auto-pedestrian collision that occurred around 4:30 a.m. Saturday.

Officers arrived at the scene to find a man in a ditch off the roadway of FM 1431 and Vista Ridge. The man was identified as 28-year-old Andrew Jensen. Jensen was transported to Seton Medical Center Williamson and is in good condition.

The man was riding his bicycle when he was struck by a grey Jeep Liberty that then left the scene. The Jeep was heading westbound on East Whitestone when the vehicle struck the bicycle.

The Jeep has damage on the passenger side fender and is missing the passenger side mirror.

The Cedar Park Police Department is requesting assistance from the public with identifying the driver and the vehicle. If anyone has information that could help identify the driver or vehicle, you are asked to call Officer Waylan Adams at 512-260-4760 or Investigator Mike McCann at 512-260-4790.
