NASHVILLE, Tennessee -- An 11-year-old boy is marketing a new invention to prevent hot car deaths.
Andrew Pelham is getting national recognition for what he calls the E-Z Baby Saver. One end of the rubber band device hooks to the driver's seat. The other end hooks to the driver's door.
"I can't get out without remembering, 'Oh my kid is in the car. I better check,'" Pelham said.
The pre-teen won runner up in a contest run by the University of Akron.
