CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- A Corpus Christi Border Patrol Agent is facing a murder charge for killing a man who was having an online relationship with his wife, police said.
Keith James Martin, 35, was fatally shot in his home while a family member was present, officers said.
Adam Garibay, 33, was chased for 18 miles in Medina County before he crashed his car, officers said. He was taken to a hospital for injuries.
While the chase was on-going, Corpus Christi police were called to Garibay's home after a young boy ran to a neighbor asking someone to help his mother. Police found the 28-year-old woman with minor injuries. The information about the murder and the chase came later on, police said.
Police said Garibay killed Martin because Martin was allegedly having a relationship with Garibay's wife using Facebook.
