AUSTIN -- A big name is coming to Austin for this year's SXSW festival in March.
Bill Gates will deliver the closing keynote address at this year's SXSW education conference.
This education component is just starting to take off. Gates' address is scheduled for March 7th.
He will talk about the work of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation which focuses primarily on ensuring all students are prepared for success in college and career.
After the education conference, the rest of SXSW, including music, film and interactive continues from March 8th to March 17th.
