Bank robbery suspect arrested in North Austin

AUSTIN -- Austin police arrested a man Saturday afternoon suspected of robbing a bank in North Austin.

Just after 11 a.m. officers responded to the Austin Telco Federal Credit Union on 110 Center Ridge Drive.

Police say the suspect entered the bank, displayed a gun and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

No customers were inside the bank at the time and no employees were injured.

Police found the suspect near the Madison at Walnut Creek apartment complex on Metric Blvd and took him into custody.
