AUSTIN -- An Austin man who escaped an Algerian natural gas facility as it was attacked by Islamic militants this week is headed home.
A spokesman for U.S. Rep. Michael McCaul tells KVUE News that the man escaped the facility as the attack began. He was not held hostage.
His identity has not been released. He is expected home in Austin as early as Sunday.
