AUSTIN -- An Austin man faces multiple child pornography charges after explicit pictures of children were found on his electronic devices.
Rene Delacruz, 31, was arrested Wednesday after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited children.
Investigators from the Office of Attorney General of Texas' Cyber Crimes unit searched Delacruz's home and seized his computers, cell phone and media storage devices. Authorities found explicit pictures of children in those devices.
Delacruz is currently being held in the Travis County Jail. His bond was set at $45,000. He was charged with three third-degree felony counts of child pornography possession. Each count is punishable by two to 10 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
