AUSTIN -- Austin police are searching for a group of people who assaulted a man in East Austin.
It happened around 1:20 Sunday morning at the corner of 2nd St. and Comal St.
Investigators say several people got out of a vehicle and attacked the victim, then drove off.
Police say the victim was intoxicated at the time. He was taken to Brackenridge Hospital. His condition is unknown.
