AUSTIN -- About 1,000 customers are currently without power in 60 locations due to Tuesday evening's storm activity, according to Austin Energy.

Ten repair crews and six tree trimming crews are working to repair the outages. Tree limbs on power lines are the most frequent cause of outages. New leaves on trees increase the movement of tree limbs with the rain.

A large outage in the Lost Creek Blvd area affecting about 800 customers was resolved. The cause was tree limbs on power lines.

Crews are working to restore power to all customers.

If you have a power outage in your area, report it at 512-322-9100.
