AUSTIN -- The Texas Humane Legislation Network, an Austin non-profit, will hold a show to benefit the humane treatment of animals at the Paramount Theater.

Kaye Ballard, Liliane Montevecchi and Lee Roy Reams will perform at Doin' It For Love. The evening will be filled with song, dance and timeless comedy acts from the best of Broadway and New York cabaret.

"It's a unique opportunity for everybody in Austin to come and see these fabulous performers, and promote a good cause," Monica Hardy, executive director of THLN.

THLN fights to protect animals in Texas through legislation, education and advocacy. All proceeds raised will go directly to helping the non-profit achieve its mission.

"Primarily most of our efforts are to pass humane protection laws for animals," said Hardy.

With funds raised from previous events, THLN has worked with state legislators against puppy mills. Through partnerships and grass root campaigns, they've worked to have legislation passed that regulates breeders in Texas.

Tickets range from $35-$100 for the Feb. 24 and Feb. 25 shows and can be purchased at the Paramount's website.
