APD reports 8 armed robberies in 8 hours by same suspects

AUSTIN -- A crime spree was committed by the same suspects in the late hours of Friday night to Saturday morning.

Austin police have confirmed that three black males in their 20s, all armed, robbed victims in locations spanning across the city.

The spree started around 10:30 p.m. Friday and lasted to about 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

According to KVUE's new partner the Austin American-Statesman, most of the robberies happened in parking complexes.

APD says the first four robberies happened south of the University of Texas, and the last four were further north reaching past Braker Lane.

The case is still under investigation, and the suspects are still being sought.

- 1900 Burton Dr
- San Marcos St and E 8th
- 1000 N Lamar Blvd
- 1020 E 45th St
- 6855 US 290 E
- 9329 Northgate Blvd
- 11700 Metric Blvd
