AUSTIN -- Austin police officers responded to the 3100 block of Loyola in Central East Austin after a report of gunshots Monday morning. The caller reported hearing 15 shots fired north of Dottie Jordan Park.

Upon officers' arrival, they heard more shots fire, though APD tells KVUE no one was hit.

Austin police told KVUE officers also investigated a residence at nearby 6700 Tulsa Cove and asked for narcotics officers' assistance.

Police arrested a man at that residence they believe was involved in the incident. Joe Anthony Ockleberry, 19, was taken into custody.

Police continue to investigate this case.
