AUSTIN -- Austin police are asking for the public's help in identifying two sexual assault suspects.

Police say on Monday July 1 around 2 a.m., a female University of Texas student walking alone in the 900 block of West 26th Street was approached from behind by at least two unidentified males.

The suspects forced her to the ground, blindfolded her, placed her into a vehicle and sexually assaulted her. The victim was driven to an unknown location and was eventually released at approximately 6 a.m. in the 2200 block of Stephen F. Austin Blvd.

Further information and a composite of the suspects were not immediately available.
