AUSTIN -- Austin Bergstrom International Airport was evacuated Saturday after the sprinkler system flooded part of the airport.
According to an ABIA spokesperson, a sprinkler outside the upper level bathrooms accidentally went off in between the ticketing areas.
While crews cleaned up the water, everyone in the airport had to go back through security, including those already on their planes.
The airport reopened just before 11 a.m. Saturday. Airport officials told KVUE there were no flight delays.
