AUSTIN -- TxDOT will demolish an 80-year-old bridge over Lake Marble Falls this weekend.
Construction workers have already removed the concrete deck from the old US 281 bridge, leaving only the steel skeleton.
Demolition crews are set to detonate what's left of the bridge Sunday morning. Once the implosion is complete, crews will use cranes to retrieve the steel from the lake.
