COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The man who fell four stories while working at the Kyle Field construction site Tuesday has died, according to OSHA officials.

The 25-year-old man was rushed to St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan, but he didn’t survive, KBTX reports.

His name has not been released.

The accident happened sometime after 11 a.m. Tuesday.

The job site was reportedly shut down while the cause of the accident is investigated.

The stadium is undergoing a $450-million renovation that will essentially enclose the south end zone and bring big changes to the east side and student section. Phase two after the 2014 football season will include tearing down the west side and rebuilding it.

This is the second major construction site accident on the A&M campus this year. Four workers were injured in June when the new equine center facility collapsed as it was being built.
