AUSTIN -- A man has been arrested and charged with the homicide of his girlfriend.
Austin police officers were called to the 2600 block of Little John Lane near Oltorf Street in South Austin for a welfare check just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15.
Inside the home they found the body of Kirstin Anderson, 41. An autopsy determined that her death was a homicide.
After investigating, police arrested Anderson's boyfriend, 23-year-old Christopher Roberts and charged him with murder. He is now in the Travis County Jail, and his bond has been set at $250,000.
