Pearl Harbor dead remembered on 71st anniversary

This file photo shows the US Pacific Fleet as it burns in its home base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, after 360 Japanese warplanes made a massive surprise attack 07 December, 1941, which ended a long struggle on the part of isolationist forces in the US to stay out of the war. Commemorations for the 62nd Anniversary of the attack will begin 05 December, 2003, by military and civilian groups. Celebrations will include honoring civilian survivors of the attack.
