AUSTIN -- A 16-year-old died Friday from injuries he sustained during a large fight in the 2000 Block of Uphill Lane Thursday night.
Austin police said they responded to a report of a fight at 6:08 p.m. Thursday. Jorge Medina, 16, who was involved in the fight was transported to Dell Children’s Hospital by private vehicle with life-threatening injuries.
In the early morning hours of Friday, November 9, 2012, Jorge Medina died as a result of his injuries.
Homicide detectives are currently identifying and interviewing witnesses.
