Maclaren, a British stroller manufacturer that’s been very popular with parents in the U.S., is announcing a recall of 1 million strollers.
The problem is that at least a dozen children have had their fingers amputated in the hinge.
Here are the affected models:
• Volo
• Triumph
• Quest Sport
• Quest Mod
• Techno XT
• Techno XLR
• Twin Triumph
• Twin Techno
• Easy Traveller.
The company asks that parents stop using the strollers immediately until they can get a free repair kit to cover the stroller’s hinge mechanism. Go here to give the company your information so they can send you the repair.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission just released the information this afternoon.
