Target recalls 127,000 Halloween decorations

Target is recalling 127,000 Halloween-themed LED window "gel clings" due to potential choking and button battery swallowing hazards for children.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall involves six different Halloween-themed LED gel clings that come with two non-replaceable button cell batteries.

The window gel clings light up with a blinking light when you push on them. There are six different gel cling designs:

  • Green skeleton
  • Pink skeleton,
  • Purple spider
  • Purple and black cat
  • Orange and black pumpkin
  • Green and black bat

Model number 234-25-0904 is printed on the gel cling’s packaging.

The recalled gel clings were sold at Target stores nationwide from August 2016 through September 2016 for about $1.
